Position Title : Government Services Coordinator
The Government Services Coordinator will be an integral part of the Project Support Services Team and will support the capacity building implementation and government services delivery in support of the Customs, Permitting and Immigration work streams.
The position will also work directly with government department to ensure resources are in place to enable Government departments to carry out their duties in supporting the project.
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Oil & Gas, Mining or other a large-scale project in Government Relations / Public Affairs or Institutional Capacity Building
Experience with Government Services delivery management and oversight, budget, cost control
Experience in supervising Service Contracts and Contractors
Experience in working in or with Government departments on Customs, Permitting or Immigration and Labor matters will be an advantage.
Work with procurement and finance and other departments to provide Government with the agreed resources, and ensure that Government properly utilize these resources.
Supervise and manage service delivery to government departments supported under the capacity building effort
Track costs and expenditure based on agreed criteria in the MOU with specific government departments
Liaise as required with the various government departments on their logistics needs and planning
Act as interface with construction teams to ensure that Government departments can mobilize and operate to site in an efficient manner.
Liaise with Customs, Permitting and Immigration teams to ensure that Government departments have the support they expect.
Liaise with Legal department to ensure that company anti-corruption rules are followed throughout the Capacity building delivery program.
