Opportunity

  • Abt Associates seeks a qualified Administrative Assistant 8 to support the International Health Division in Mozambique.
  • Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.
  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to : photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.
  • Sign for and distribute UPS / Fed Ex / DHL packages.
  • Research, price, and purchase office furniture and supplies.
  • Coordinate and maintain records for staff office space, phones, parking, company office keys.
  • Setup and coordinate meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain and distribute staff weekly schedules.
  • Collect and maintain PC inventory.
  • Support staff in assigned project based work.
  • Provide office orientation for new employees.
  • Setup accommodation and entertainment arrangements for company visitors.
  • Travel Coordination and accommodation bookings for visitors, employees, and preparing reports
  • Forward renewals of DIRE and work permits from the competent authorities
  • Support the Finance Department in payments, when requested
  • Minimum Qualifications

    2+) years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
